What is the Peripheral Artery Questionnaire

The Peripheral Artery Questionnaire (PAQ) is a 20-item, disease-specific measure for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD). It generates descriptions of patients’ symptoms, change in symptoms, physical and social limitations due to PAD, treatment satisfaction, PAD-specific quality of life, and an overall summary score. It has well-established psychometric properties, including validity, reliability, responsiveness, and interpretability. It has been used as an outcome in numerous clinical trials and outcomes research projects.
